The Internet Society and the Future of the Internet and Society

In the recent debate about top level domain names some have raised the question of the legitimacy of the Internet Society in one of its key roles. The rapidly changing context is also challenging the pertinence of ISOC. How can an organisation like the Internet Society continue to contribute to the harmonious development and growth of the Internet?
